Variably cloudy and mainly dry.
Forecast high will be 34ºC, and the low will be 27ºC.

Winds:
East to southeast and generally moderate; force 3 to 4 (11 to 30 km/h, 7 to 16 knots). Mainly during daytime on Wednesday, occasionally fresh; force 5 (31 to 39 km/h, 17 to 21 knots).
Synopsis:
The southeasterly air flow over our region caused by the presence of Hurricane Matthew will gradually become easterly, as this system moves farther away. Mainly high level clouds will continue to move at times over our region today and shower activity therefore is not expected over our island.
Sea conditions:
Generally moderate with wave heights of 1 to 2 meters (3 to 7 feet) waves. Westerly swells will occasionally cause breaking waves on mainly our west facing shores today. A High Surf Advisory therefore is in effect until this evening and swimmers and boaters are advised to avoid entering the rough water.
Significant tropical weather systems:
Hurricane Matthew was located this morning near western Haiti. It continues to move slowly toward the north over the central Caribbean waters. The Meteorological Department Curaçao will continue to monitor this system as it moves away from our region. Another disturbance located this morning over the Atlantic Ocean at about 840 northeast of Puerto Rico was classified as Tropical Storm Nicole. It poses no threat to our region.
