Kralendijk (19 december 2016) – Donderdag 15 december organiseerde Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) samen met Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) en de Bonaire Outreach Foundation voor het 7e jaar het “Christmas Holiday Gift Project”. De kapitein en zijn bemanning van het cruiseschip Carnival Conquest brachten 200 cadeautjes mee voor 200 kinderen op Bonaire. De selectie van de kinderen werd bepaald tijdens de naschoolse opvang samen met de Bonaire Outreach Foundation.

Het meest indrukwekkende deel was dat alle 200 kinderen samen met de vrijwilligers dit jaar aanboord gingen van het cruiseschip waar het hele evenement werd gehouden. Het was een zeer aangename ochtend voor de kinderen aan boord van de Carnival Conquest. Zij hadden dan cadeautjes gekregen van het cruiseschip, maar hadden ook lunch en er waren verschillende activiteiten voor hen zoals Kids Disco en een theatervoorstelling over Kerstmis.

Dhr. Maurice Adriaens directeur van TCB en Dhr. Dennis Martines van Bonaire Outreach Foundation verwelkomt alle kinderen en bedankte de organisatie van de Carnival Conquest voor dit ongelooflijke initiatief en hoop dat dit project in de toekomst ook kan plaatsvinden.

FLORIDA CARIBBEAN CRUISE ASSOCIATION (FCCA) TOGETHER WITH TOURISM CORPORATION BONAIRE (TCB) AND BONAIRE OUTREACH FOUNDATION ORGANIZED ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL “CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY GIFT PROJECT” FOR 200 CHILDREN ON BONAIRE

Kralendijk (December 19th, 2016) – On Thursday December 15th Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) together with Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) and Bonaire Outreach Foundation organized the 7th “Christmas Holiday Gift Project”. The captain and crew of the cruise ship Carnival Conquest brought 200 gifts that were given to 200 kids on Bonaire. The selection of the children took place under the afterschool program together with Bonaire Outreach Foundation.

The most impressive part this year was that all the 200 kids together with the volunteers went on board of the cruise ship where the whole event was held.
It was a very pleasent morning for the kids on board of the Carnival Conquest. Other than the gifts they received from the cruise ship they also had lunch and there were different activities for them like Kids Disco and a Theatre show about Christmas.

Mr. Maurice Adriaens director of TCB and Mr. Dennis Martines from Bonaire Outreach Foundation welcomed all the kids and thanked the organization of the Carnival Conquest for this incredible initiative and hope this project can keep taking place in the future.
