Repeat request for community assistance in these two ongoing criminal investigations.

Does anyone recognize these perpetrators of an armed robbery?

On Monday, March 18, 2019, around 11.15 am, in broad daylight, an armed robbery occurred at supermarket 2.3 in the Dutch Quarter district. Three perpetrators, one with a firearm, entered the supermarket and forced some of those present to lie on the floor.

The perpetrators took the money from the cash register under threat from the firearm. After the raid, the three perpetrators ran away in the direction of the Dutch Quarter.

Shooting near the Emergency Homes in Dutch Quarter

In the early morning hours, on Thursday March 21st 2019, a man with gunshot wounds was discovered laying on the ground in the street near the Emergency homes in Dutch Quarter. A few days later the victim succumbed to his injuries.

There have been no suspects arrested in this case. The Detective Department of the Police Force of Sint Maarten has intensified their investigation in search of the suspect (s). However, detectives are still looking for witnesses to assist with this investigation.
