WILLEMSTAD  – 4 di yüli 2019 – Durante di e periodo tras di lomba Ofisina di Turismo di Kòrsou (CTB) a kondusí 2 kurso dirigí riba sektor di turismo. Ta trata aki di un kurso di Servisio na Kliente i un kurso di Seguridat den turismo. Durante un seremonia ameno kual a tuma lugá na e aria di rekreashon na Marie Pampoen, un total di 164 persona a risibí nan sertifikado despues di a terminá ku éksito un di e kursonan ariba menshoná. E seremonia a inkluí spich di Minister enkargá ku Desaroyo Ekonómiko sr. Kenneth Gijsbertha, CEO di CTB sr. Paul Pennicook i Hefe di Departamentu di Desaroyo di Produkto sr. Ritzel Godfried.  

 

E kurso di Servisio na Kliente, diseñá pa Teamwork Curaçao, a konsistí di e siguiente modulonan: : Servisio na bo òrdu!, Komunikashon efektivo, Kon pa atendé den situashonnan difísil i Bai e ‘extra mile’. E partisipantenan ta di e siguiente organisashonnan: Kuerpo Polisial Kòrsou, Departamentu di Imigrashon, Curaçao Ports Authority, Duana i Curaçao Airport Partners. Un total di 97 persona a terminá e kurso ku éksito. 

 

Pa loke ta trata e kurso di Seguridat, esaki a keda ofresé na personanan ku riba base diario ta den kontakto ku e turista. Pa e partisipantenan e kurso aki a ofresé un tremendo oportunidat pa nan sigui desaroyá nan abilidatnan i siña kon pa atendé aspektonan di seguridat. Dr. Peter Tarlow, eksperto renombrá internashonalmente riba aria di seguridat a guia e kurso. Sr. Tarlow den pasado ya a yega di traha ku CTB. E aña aki un total di 67 persona a kompletá e kurso. E partisipantenan ta di e siguiente organisashonnan: Avila Beach Hotel, Renaissance Curaçao Resort & Casino, Sunscape Curaçao Resort Spa & Casino, Papagayo Curaçao, Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort Curaçao, Curaçao Ports Authority, Stichting Slachtofferhulp Curaçao, Fundashon Kuido di Ambulans Kòrsou, Kuerpo Polisial Kòrsou, Budget Rent-a-Car Curaçao, Hertz Car Rental, Sinusta Taxi Curaçao, Thirty Steps Association, Konsulado di Estádos

Certificate Ceremony Customer Service and Tourism Safety & Security Training

 

WILLEMSTAD – July 4, 2019 – The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) recently offered two courses aimed at the tourism sector—a Customer Service and a Tourism Safety & Security course. During a pleasant ceremony at Marie Pampoen Recreation Area, 164 participants received their certificates after successfully completing one of the above-mentioned courses. The ceremony included speeches by the Minister in charge of Economic Development Mr. Kenneth Gijsbertha, CTB’s CEO Mr. Paul Pennicook and Product Development Manager Mr. Ritzel Godfried. 

 

The Customer Service course, designed by Teamwork Curaçao, consisted of the following modules: At your Service!, Effective Communication, Handling Challenging Situations, and Going the Extra Mile. The participants included representatives of the Curaçao Police Force, Immigration Department, Curaçao Ports Authority, Airport Customs and Curaçao Airport Partners. 97 participants successfully completed the course. 

 

The Tourism Safety & Security course was offered to those who interact on a daily basis with tourists. For the participants, this was a great opportunity to further develop their skills and learn how to handle certain safety and security matters. Dr. Peter Tarlow, world-renowed expert in tourism security, delivered the course. Dr. Tarlow has worked with the CTB in the past. This year, 67 participants completed the course. The participants included representatives of the Avila Beach Hotel, Renaissance Curaçao Resort & Casino, Sunscape Curaçao Resort Spa & Casino, Papagayo Curaçao, Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort Curaçao, the Curaçao Ports Authority, the Curaçao Victim Support Foundation, the Curaçao Ambulance Service, the Curaçao Police Force, Budget Rent-a-Car Curaçao, Hertz Car Rental, Sinusta Taxi Curaçao, Thirty Steps Association, the Consulates of the U.S. and Suriname, CHATA and the CTB.

 

The CTB wishes to thank all for their active participation in the sessions and is confident that the information received will be put to good use in their daily work.
