La Cabana Celebrates Wellness and Growth at Q2 Associates General Meeting
Eagle Beach– La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino proudly hosted its Second Quarter Associates’ General Meeting under the inspiring theme “Living a Healthy Lifestyle.”
Held in the resort’s ballroom, the event brought together associates for an afternoon of wellness, empowerment, and celebration.
The meeting opened with a warm welcome and a call to action, emphasizing the importance of activations and the HEART Model in guest services. The Heart Model, an acronym for Hear, Empathize, Apologize, Respond/Resolve, and Thank, is a guest service framework for handling customer issues and complaints. Associates were then encouraged to embrace a holistic approach to health — physically, mentally, and financially.
Rene Wild led the session on physical wellness, motivating associates to move, breathe, and energize their bodies. He also launched the Weight Loss Challenge 2025, inviting team members to join the journey toward healthier living.
