Effective October 1, 2025, the Government of St. Maarten will implement Purchase Orders (POs) as part of its Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process. The POs represent proper approvals, budget reservation and Government’s commitment to pay. Vendors must include the PO number on all invoices and submit them directly to accounting@sintmaartengov.org. This new centralized process streamlines approvals, ensures proper tracking, and improves payment timelines, giving vendors confidence that payment commitments are in place once a PO number has been issued.
