The Police Force of Sint Maarten wishes to share a moment of reflection and appreciation following a heartfelt gathering held on Friday morning, March 13, 2026, at the St. Maarten Medical Center, where colleagues, family members, and representatives from various law enforcement organizations came together to honor one of their own.

In a powerful show of unity and respect, a large group of KPSM officers stood alongside family members and fellow partners in law enforcement to recognize Miss K. Hyman, who is currently going through a serious medical crisis. Miss Hyman has been a dedicated member of the organization and played an instrumental role in the development and planning of the KPSM Drone Team.

During the brief but meaningful ceremony held at SMMC, members of the KPSM Drone Team paid tribute to her contributions by officially renaming the drone call-sign from “ZULU’s” to “KERI’s.” This symbolic gesture reflects the deep respect and appreciation the organization holds for her commitment, vision, and efforts in helping establish the drone unit.
