MCB Caribbean Legends Pro-Am 2026 Officially Opened at Blue Bay Curaçao

The inaugural MCB Caribbean Legends Pro-Am 2026 has been officially opened today at Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort, marking a historic moment for professional golf on the island.
The official opening ceremony was conducted by Steffen Kefer, Tournament Director of Blue Bay, alongside Jamie Donaldson, former Ryder Cup winner. They were joined by Sepp Koster, CEO of Blue Bay Curacao Golf & Beach Resort, Muryad de Bruin, CEO of Curaçao Tourist Board and Daniela Cohen-Henriquez of MCB Bank, highlighting the strong partnership behind this landmark event.
In a unique and memorable moment, divers emerged from the Caribbean Sea in a
spectacular way to present the custom made ChiChi as the winner’s trophy of the
tournament to Jamie Donaldson, symbolizing the official start of the tournament, with play set to begin tomorrow May 1st.

The tournament will officially tee off on Friday, May 1 at 12:00 PM, when teams begin their first round. Players are expected to return to the historic Plantation House (Landhuis) around 6:00 PM. The second round will take place on Saturday, May 2, followed by the final round on Sunday, May 3.
Every day, spectators are warmly invited to attend and experience this world-class golf event from designated viewing points across the course. Visitors can also test their own golf skills at the Blue Bay Driving Range during the tournament days.
The MCB Caribbean Legends Pro-Am is part of the official Legends Tour and celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Blue Bay Golf Course, bringing international golf excellence together with the unique atmosphere and hospitality of Curaçao.
