Hon. President of Parliament, Mrs. Sarah A. Wescot-Williams, together with Members of Parliament Ms. Ludmila N.L. de Weever, Mr. Egbert J. Doran, and Ms. Sjamira D.M. Roseburg, met with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mr. Rob Jetten, during his first official visit to Sint Maarten as Prime Minister of the Netherlands.

The gathering took place at Rainforest Adventures at Rockland Estate on Sentry Hill, where Prime Minister Jetten also met with Ministers of the Council of Ministers. Accompanied to the top by Prime Minister Dr. Luc F.E. Mercelina and President of Parliament Wescot-Williams, brief introductory remarks were shared by both Prime Ministers and the President of Parliament after which all present were able to engage in open and meaningful discussions while enjoying the breathtaking views that highlight the beauty and uniqueness of Sint Maarten.
