During the Oath of Office ceremony held on Wednesday 22 July 2026, four civil servants were officially sworn in, marking the beginning of their service with the Statia Government.

The employees are:

Zuwena Sirvania-Suares, Pedagogical Policy Officer

Menke Ina Deuring, Unit Manager – Internal Services

Tyhinna Christopher and Meylisio Spanner, Security Officers in Training at the Directorate of Transport – Security Unit

The ceremony also recognised Ruth Pandt-Leerdam for her outstanding 40 years of dedicated service. Her commitment and dedication over the past four decades have made a lasting contribution to the organisation and the community.
