Onder voorzitterschap van Curaçao

AICESIS presenteert voorlopig rapport aan ILO Deputy Director General

 

Genève, 18 juni 2024 – In een belangrijke stap richting het bevorderen van inclusieve groei en duurzame ontwikkeling heeft de Internationale Vereniging van Economische en Sociale Raden en Vergelijkbare Instellingen (AICESIS) de voorlopige resultaten van haar uitgebreide questionnaire overhandigd aan de Internationale Arbeidsorganisatie (ILO). Het rapport werd officieel overhandigd aan de Deputy Director General van de ILO, mevrouw Celeste Drake, door vertegenwoordigers van het voorzitterschap van AICESIS (de SER van Curaçao) en de secretaris-generaal van AICESIS tijdens een formele bilaterale bijeenkomst op 12 juni 2024.

Het rapport, opgesteld door de SER van Curaçao, biedt een diepgaande analyse van de afstemming van AICESIS-leden op brede en inclusieve groeidoelstellingen, prestatie-indicatoren en hun integratie met mondiale en regionale kaders. Het onderzoekt regionale implementatie, monitoring- en evaluatieprocessen, verslaglegging, verantwoordingsmechanismen en samenwerkingsuitwisselingen tussen aangesloten instellingen. De Deputy Director General van de ILO sprak haar waardering uit voor de ijverige inspanningen van AICESIS en de aangesloten instellingen. “Dit voorlopige rapport getuigt van de inzet van AICESIS voor inclusieve en duurzame ontwikkeling. De verzamelde inzichten zullen een belangrijke bijdrage leveren aan ons gezamenlijke doel om wereldwijd rechtvaardige groei te bevorderen en de sociale dialoog te versterken.”

De overhandiging van het rapport markeert het begin van een diepgaand evaluatieproces door de ILO, en het eindrapport, dat later dit jaar wordt verwacht, zal een uitgebreide analyse en uitvoerbare aanbevelingen bevatten om de AICESIS-leden verder op één lijn te brengen met de wereldwijde doelstellingen op het gebied van duurzaamheid en inclusiviteit.

La AICESIS presenta un informe preliminar a la directora general adjunta de la OIT

 

 

Ginebra, 18 de junio de 2024 – En un paso significativo hacia el avance del crecimiento inclusivo y el desarrollo sostenible, la Asociación Internacional de Consejos Económicos y Sociales e Instituciones Similares (AICESIS) presentó los resultados preliminares de su cuestionario exhaustivo a la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT). El informe fue entregado oficialmente a la directora general adjunta de la OIT, la Sra. Celeste Drake, por los representantes del Consejo presidente de la AICESIS (el SER de Curazao) y el secretario general de la AICESIS durante una reunión bilateral formal celebrada el 12 de junio de 2024.

 

El informe, elaborado por el SER de Curazao, ofrece un análisis en profundidad de la alineación de los miembros de la AICESIS con objetivos de crecimiento amplios e inclusivos, indicadores de rendimiento y su integración con marcos globales y regionales. Examina la aplicación regional, los procesos de seguimiento y evaluación, la presentación de informes, los mecanismos de rendición de cuentas y los intercambios de colaboración entre las instituciones miembros. La directora adjunta de la OIT expresó su reconocimiento por los diligentes esfuerzos de la AICESIS y sus instituciones miembros. “Este informe preliminar es un testimonio del compromiso de la AICESIS con el desarrollo inclusivo y sostenible. Los conocimientos recogidos contribuirán significativamente a nuestro objetivo común de fomentar un crecimiento equitativo y mejorar el diálogo social a escala mundial.”

 

La entrega del informe marca el inicio de un proceso de revisión en profundidad por parte de la OIT, y el informe final, que se espera para finales de este año, proporcionará un análisis exhaustivo y recomendaciones prácticas para seguir alineando a los miembros de la AICESIS con los objetivos globales de sostenibilidad e inclusión.

AICESIS presents the preliminary report to ILO deputy director general

 

 

Geneva, June 18, 2024 — In a significant step towards advancing inclusive growth and sustainable development, the Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS) presented the preliminary results of its comprehensive questionnaire to the International Labour Organization (ILO). The report was officially handed over to the ILO Deputy Director General Ms. Celeste Drake by representatives of the AICESIS Presiding Council (the SER of Curaçao) and the Secretary General of AICESIS during a formal bilateral meeting on June 12, 2024.

The report, prepared by the SER of Curaçao, provides an in-depth analysis of AICESIS members’ alignment with broad and inclusive growth objectives, performance indicators, and their integration with global and regional frameworks. It examines regional implementation, monitoring and evaluation processes, reporting, accountability mechanisms, and collaborative exchanges among member institutions. The ILO Deputy Director expressed appreciation for the diligent efforts of AICESIS and its member institutions. “This preliminary report is a testament to the commitment of AICESIS towards inclusive and sustainable development. The insights gathered will significantly contribute to our shared goal of fostering equitable growth and enhancing social dialogue globally.”

The handover of the report marks the beginning of an in-depth review process by the ILO, and the final report, expected later this year, will provide a comprehensive analysis and actionable recommendations to further align AICESIS members with global sustainability and inclusivity goals.
