Kampaña di konsientisashon di CTB Proyekto ‘Dushi Hende t’ Ami; Mi ta ON!’ a entregá sertifikado na 536 hóben

WILLEMSTAD- 20 di desèmber 2016 – Resientemente e kampaña di konsientisashon Dushi Hende t’ Ami; Mi ta ON! dirigí spesialmente riba hóbennan entre 12 i 19 aña, a hasi entregá di sertifikado na un grupo di 536 hóben. Meta di e proyekto aki tabata pa hasi e hóbennan konsiente di e importansia di desaroyo di turismo na Kòrsou i tambe di nan embolbimentu den e desaroyo aki. E kampaña a konsistí di 6 proyekto. Implementashon di e proyektonan a tuma lugá di yüni pa desèmber 2016. Minister enkargá ku Desaroyo Ekonómiko, sr. Eugene Rhuggenaath tabata presente pa asina otorgá sertifikado na e hóbennan.

E kampaña a konsistí di e siguiente 6 proyektonan: 1) un kompetensia di saka potrèt kaminda e hóben mester a ilustrá kon e ta mira desaroyo di turismo den su pais. 2) Un konferensia pa hóbennan di Scouting i AGPNA riba tópikonan relashoná ku desaroyo di turismo. 3) Diferente workshop i seshonnan di informashon riba e balornan básiko pa por traha den sektor di turismo. Esakinan a keda duná dor di hóbennan di VSBO i SBO na alumnonan di Skolnan di Fundeshi. E hóbennan a keda di coach pa personanan ku ta laborá den sektor di turismo. 4) Partisipashon na Studie en Beroepenmarkt 2016 kaminda a duna informashon na e hóbennan tokante desaroyo di turismo i posibilidat di trabou den e sektor aki. 5) Seshon di informashon interaktivo riba turismo dirigí riba hóbennan di VSBO i 6) Tour pa hóbennan di Naschoolse Opvang konosé diferente atrakshon turístiko aki na Kòrsou.

E proyekto a keda finansiá pa Reda Sosial, ku fondo di Gobièrnu di Kòrsou. Ofisina di Turismo di Kòrsou (CTB) tambe a kontribuí finansieramente na e proyekto i huntu ku Fundashon Nos Kousa tabata enkargá ku ehekushon di e proyekto. Un danki ta bai na tur organisashon, skolnan, Naschoolse Opvang, representantenan di sektor priva i tur personanan ku di un òf otro manera a kontribuí na éksito di e kampaña di konsientisashon Dushi Hende t’ Ami; Mi ta ON!.

CTB Awareness Campaign “Dushi Hende t’ Ami; Mi ta ON!” project handed out certificates to 536 youths

WILLEMSTAD- December 20, 2016 – The awareness campaign titled “Dushi Hende t’ Ami; Mi ta ON!”, aimed mainly at youths between the ages of 12 and 19 years, recently handed out certificates to a group of 536 youngsters. The project was aimed at increasing awareness among young people on the importance of tourism development for Curaçao and of their involvement in this development. The campaign consisted of six individual projects, implemented from June to December of 2016. The Minister in charge of Economic Development, Mr. Eugene Rhuggenaath, attended the occasion to hand out the certificates.

The campaign consisted of the following six projects: 1) A photo competition in which youths had to illustrate their view of tourism development in their country. 2) A conference for scouting and AGPNA youths, focussing on topics related to tourism development. 3) Several workshops and information sessions on the basic values required in order to work in the tourism industry. These were delivered to elementary school children by VSBO and SBO students after having received coaching from people active in the tourism industry. 4) Participation in the 2016 Study and Career Fair, where the youngsters received information on tourism development and employment opportunities in this sector. 5) Interactive information sessions on tourism aimed at VSBO students and 6) Tours to get youths in after-school care acquainted with several tourist attractions on the island.

The project was financed by Reda Sosial, with funds of the Government of Curaçao. The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) too made a financial contribution to the project and, together with Fundashon Nos Kousa, was in charge of its execution. We hereby wish to thank all organizations, schools, after-school care organizations, representatives of the private sector and all who in one way or another contributed to the success of the “Dushi Hende t’ Ami; Mi ta ON!!” awareness campaign.
