Successful BBQ event by the Curaçao Culinary Team
Willemstad, Tuesday May 1st, 2018 – On Saturday April 28th, the Curaçao Culinary team held its BBQ fundraising event at CHATA Member, Landhuis Chobolobo. Many came out to support the team who will represent the island at the Taste of the Caribbean competitions in Miami.
The Curaçao Culinary Team was all smiles during their fundraising event last Saturday as they welcomed many that came to support. Visitors enjoyed a delicious BBQ and had the opportunity to see our young chefs in action. Many were impressed by the great culinary skills of the team and the great team work that they exemplified. According to one visitor, “I am proud to see that we have such talented and determined young professionals in the culinary industry that work hard to represent our island internationally”.
CHATA and the Curaçao Culinary Team would like to extend their gratitude to all who came to support the event especially our sponsors. The Curaçao Culinary Team is a group of young professionals in the Culinary Industry of Curaçao who will represent the island at Taste of the Caribbean from June 22 -26th. The Taste of the Caribbean is a culinary competition where chefs and bartenders from the region take center stage to compete for the Caribbean’s top culinary honors.
