Well-known repeat offender arrested

On Friday August 16th at approximately 11.45 p.m. a well-known repeat offender identified with initials A.R. was caught in the act by police while he was breaking into a private vehicle with license plate M-2994 and stealing items from that vehicle. The incident took place on the Wellington road in the vicinity of Lagoonies in Cole bay. The suspect tried to flee from the officers but was quickly caught up with. The suspect was immediately arrested and the personal items stolen from the vehicle were confiscated for further investigation. A.R. was taken to the Police Head Quarters in Philipsburg where he remains in custody for questioning and further investigation.

Police arrest three persons for theft.

On Monday August 19th at approximately 04.00 a.m. three persons, two males identified with initials L.C.D.C. (25) and K.K.G (19) and one female identified with initials M.K.T.A. (20) were arrested by police for the stealing of car parts at garage located on the Sucker garden road. All three suspects were arrested on the spot and after taken to the police head quarters in Philipsburg for questioning and further investigation.
