United Airlines Flights Introduced During Curaçao Roadshow in New Jersey

 

WILLEMSTAD – October 24, 2019 – The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) recently organized a roadshow especially for travel agents operating in a number of cities in New Jersey. The activity was primarily aimed at advertising Curaçao’s tourism product and accommodations, and announcing the new non-stop flights from Newark Liberty Airport offered by United Airlines starting this December. The CTB worked together with United Vacations, a division of Apple Leisure Group inviting the industry’s top producing agents. Exclusive offers were also presented for booking the United Airlines flight to Curaçao. The CTB’s CEO Mr. Paul Pennicook was also present at the first session, welcoming travel agents and emphasizing the importance of collaboration. 

 

Three presentations were organized together with the private sector, for travel agents in key areas close to Newark Liberty Airport. At each event, our hotel-industry partners met with travel agents in a “mini-trade show,” which was followed by a more detailed presentation of our destination and activities, the flights offered by United Airlines, and the wide range of accommodation options available on the island. While most travel agents at the roadshow were from New Jersey, others hailed from Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania.
