The continuation of Public meeting no. 11 of Parliamentary Year 2024-2025 for discussions with the Minister of Finance, Ms. Marinka J. Gumbs, regarding the draft National Ordinance containing rules regarding a basic payment account for consumers, took place today, Monday, December 15, 2025.
The Minister returned to Parliament to provide responses to the clarification questions posed by the Members of Parliament. During the meeting, Member of Parliament, Mr. Ardwell M.R. Irion, submitted two amendments on the draft national ordinance. The meeting was adjourned to allow the submitted amendments to be reviewed and to be responded to by the Minister.
