Statia is taking important steps to become a Child Friendly City through the Child Friendly Cities Initiative (CFCI), in partnership with UNICEF.
The Action Plan focuses on three key priorities:
• Making sure children’s rights are considered in all government decisions
• Giving children and youth a stronger voice in policies that affect them
• Improving mental health support, resilience, and safe places to play
More than 200 children and young people shared their views, helping shape this plan. Together, we are working towards a safer, healthier, and more inclusive environment where every child can grow and thrive.
