Roderick Middelhof huntu ku Ofisina di Turismo di Kòrsou (CTB) a lansa e inisiativa pa enkurashá gruponan di marcha hubenil pa ban yuda tene e marcha di Karnaval hubenil limpi. Durante di un enkuentro ameno, e lidernan di e 20 gruponan di marcha hubenil a risibí un aporte finansiero kual lo mester sirbi pa yuda e gruponan den nan esfuersonan pa kolekta i deshasí di kùp i bòter di plèstik usá dor di nan grupo durante e marcha na un manera responsabel.
Durante e seremonia a hiba palabra Minister Middelhof, direktor di CTB, sr. Muryad de Bruin, Presidente di Asosiashon di Gruponan di Karnaval di Kòrsou (AGKK), sr. Ricardo Pita Correia i Manager di Produkto na CTB, sr. Andre Rojer. Tambe tabatei presente, parlamentario Ishair Monte, Reina, Prens i Pancho di Karnaval Hubenil 2026 i Rei di Tumba Hubenil 2026. Pa algun aña kaba CTB huntu ku Ministerio di Desaroyo Ekonómiko (MEO) a ehekutá diferente kampaña pa tene Kòrsou limpi i tambe pa stimulá resiklahe. Awor na aña 2026, a skohe pa ban yuda konsientisá riba un marcha hubenil limpi.
Ademas durante di Festival di Tumba 2026, CTB lo ta presente ku su kampaña di konsientisashon Kòrsou ta Dushi. Kaminda e enfoke lo ta pa konsientisá riba tene nos isla limpi. Pasa na e booth di Kòrsou ta Dushi pa tuma informashon i sigui e páginanan sosial di Kòrsou ta Dushi i CTB pa mas informashon riba e kampaña durante Festival di Tumba 2026 i e premionan. Launch of the Initiative “Let’s Help Keep Our Children’s Carnival Parade Clean”!
WILLEMSTAD – January 23, 2026 – The Minister of Economic Development, Mr. Roderick Middelhof, in collaboration with Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), recently launched the initiative “Let’s Help Keep Our Children’s Carnival Parade Clean,” aimed at encouraging children’s parade groups to actively contribute to maintaining cleanliness during the parade. During a pleasant ceremony, the leaders of the 20 children’s parade groups received a financial contribution to support their efforts in responsibly collecting and disposing of cups and used plastic bottles generated by their groups throughout the parade.
The ceremony featured addresses by Minister Middelhof, CTB Director, Mr. Muryad de Bruin, the President of the Carnival Groups Association (AGKK), Mr. Ricardo Pita Correia and Product Department Manager at CTB, Mr. Andre Rojer. Also present were parlement member, Ishair Monte, the Queen, Prince, and Pancho of the Children’s Parade 2026, as well as the Children’s Tumba King 2026. Each Children’s group representative signed a commitment stating that their group will also contribute to a clean parade. For several years, CTB, in partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development, has implemented various campaigns focused on keeping Curaçao clean and promoting recycling initiatives. In 2026, the focus is on raising awareness about keeping the Children’s Parade clean.
In addition, during Tumba Festival 2026, CTB will be present with its awareness campaign ‘Curaçao is Dushi’, promoting the importance of keeping our island clean.
