Despues di un periodo di inaktividat, Ofisina di Turismo di Kòrsou (CTB) den estrecho kolaborashon ku Sosiedat di Komersiantenan di Otrobanda (SKO) a hasi e trabounan di mantenshon nesesario pa por a habri e baño públiko bèk. E baño públiko ta habrí di djaluna pa djasabra di 9:00 AM pa 7:00 PM i riba dianan di fiesta, ora tin aktividat den Otrobanda i riba dianan ku tin barku krusero.
Di e forma aki CTB ta kontribuí na brinda fasilidatnan di baño públiko den nos sentro di siudat dunando un kontribushon na un Otrobanda limpi i higiéniko. Pa hasi uso di e bañonan mester hasi un kontribushon di 1 florin Karibense / 1 dòler. Na e apertura tabata presente CTB huntu ku representantenan di SKO i Kaya Kaya. CTB ta hasi un apelashon na usuarionan pa yuda mantené e bañonan limpi.
Public Restroom Under Otrobanda Viaduct Reopens
to Community and Tourists
WILLEMSTAD – April 17, 2026 – The public restroom located beneath the Otrobanda viaduct has officially reopened, once again serving the community of Curaçao and visiting tourist. Following a period of inactivity, Curaçao Tourist Board, in close collaboration with the Society of Merchants of Otrobanda (SKO), undertook the necessary efforts to restore and reopen the facility. The restroom will be open from Monday though Saturday, between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM. It will also be accessible on public holidays, during events held in Otrobanda, and on days when cruise ships are in port.
In this way, CTB contributes to providing public restroom facilities in our city center, helping to maintain a clean and hygienic Otrobanda. A small contribution of 1 Caribbean guilder / 1 US dollar is required for use of the facilities. At the reopening, CTB was present together with representatives of SKO and Kaya Kaya. CTB encourages users to help keep the restrooms clean.
