Marking the start of an important working visit, Her Excellency Governor Alida Francis welcomed the delegation from the standing committee on Health, Welfare, and Sport (VWS) upon their arrival at the F.D. Roosevelt Airport tonight. Under the leadership of Committee Chair Mohamed Mohandis, the 10-member delegation is visiting Statia to engage in vital discussions regarding topics that directly impact the community.
A comprehensive programme is scheduled for tomorrow, featuring:
– Constructive exchanges with the Executive Council and the Island Council.
– Dialogues with local healthcare partners, including the St Eustatius Health Care Foundation and the St Eustatius Auxiliary Home.
– Site visits focused on elderly care, youth services, and sports facilities.
