Monday, May 11, 2026, Public meeting no. 16 with the Minister of Public Housing, Spatial Planning, Environment and Infrastructure (VROMI), Mr. Patrice Gumbs Jr., regarding several concerns related to the Ministry of VROMI, was reconvened

During the meeting, the Minister provided responses to questions posed by Members of Parliament in the first round regarding garbage collection and waste management, road infrastructure, contractor payments, landfill operations, and building permit backlogs.

Following the Minister’s responses, Members of Parliament were given the opportunity to pose their questions to the Minister in the second round.

The meeting was subsequently adjourned to allow the Minister of VROMI time to prepare responses to the questions posed in the second round.
