Parliament reconvened urgent Public Meeting no. 15 with the Minister of Public Health, Social Development and Labor, Mr. Richinel S.J. Brug, regarding the state of affairs of the St. Maarten General Hospital and recent integrity-related allegations within the Ministry.

The meeting resumed with the Minister providing Parliament with answers to the questions posed by Members of Parliament during the first round of questioning at the meeting held on April 7, 2026. Following the Minister’s responses, Members of Parliament were given the opportunity to pose questions in the second round. The meeting was once again adjourned to allow the Minister time to prepare the answers to the questions posed in the second round.
