Parliamentary delegation meets with Sint Maarten Pageant Ambassadors in The Hague
On Monday, June 8, 2026, the delegation of the Parliament of Sint Maarten, in the Netherlands for the Tripartite and IPKO meetings, met with Ms. Zenarah Brown and Ms. Daniella Berry at the Cabinet of the Minister Plenipotentiary of Sint Maarten in The Hague.
Both young women have proudly represented Sint Maarten on the pageant stage. Ms. Berry participated in the 2025 Miss Dutch Caribbean Pageant, while Ms. Brown participated in the Miss Dutch Caribbean Teen 2026 Pageant, where she was crowned Miss Dutch Caribbean Teen 2026. Her title has earned her the opportunity to participate and represent Sint Maarten and the Dutch Caribbean in the national Miss Netherlands Teen competition scheduled for June 27, 2026.
During the meet-and-greet session, Ms. Berry and Ms. Brown shared their experiences and preparations leading up to their respective pageants. They also spoke about their roles as ambassadors for Sint Maarten, emphasizing the importance of leadership, personal development, and representing their island with pride.
The parliamentarians, as well as the Minister Plenipotentiary, commended both young women for their achievements and dedication. As a token of appreciation, Ms. Berry and Ms. Brown were presented with flowers and locally designed bags from the Sint Maarten brands CoComoods Concepts and Jolie Duzon.
