Hon. President of Parliament, Mrs. Sarah A. Wescot-Williams, while in Anguilla for the Caribbean AI Workshop, attended a bilateral meeting at the invitation of the Speaker of the Anguilla House of Assembly, Ms. Tara Carter.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between both parliamentary institutions, including the sharing of best practices in the use of technology and parliamentary administration, as well as enhancing youth engagement in parliamentary democracy.

During the discussions, both the President and the Speaker explored opportunities for joint training initiatives in areas such as artificial intelligence and debating, and exchanged views on the development and implementation of a Code of Conduct for Members of Parliament. The Speaker was accompanied by the Clerk of the Anguilla House of Assembly, while the President was accompanied by the Secretary General of Parliament.
