We recognize that Zeelandia Beach is one of Sint Eustatius’ most popular recreational areas, and we want to reassure the community that public safety remains our highest priority throughout these operations.

Whenever hunting activities are taking place, red safety flags and signage will be displayed at the entrance to the unpaved road leading to Zeelandia Beach as well as at the entrance to Boven National Park. Members of the public are kindly requested to observe all warning signs and avoid entering the marked operational area while activities are underway.

These operations form part of the island’s broader efforts to reduce the impacts of feral roaming animals on biodiversity, agriculture, public safety, and the restoration of Statia’s natural environment.
