Dear people who care,
In less than a month, we’re celebrating 10 years of 100+ Women Who Care Curaçao — and we’re marking it with something big.
In collaboration with Boost Caribbean Foundation, we’re proud to present the Sistah Rise event, happening September 8th at Amazia (Amicorp Building). On the night, we’ll be voting to award a major impact donation to one of four incredible local organizations.
Meet our 4 nominees:
Tur Mucha Mester Kome
Working to make sure every child has access to the food they need to grow, learn, and thrive.
The Hidden Green Movement
A movement dedicated to expanding and protecting Curaçao’s green spaces for a healthier, more sustainable island.
Stichting Hestia Curaçao
Supporting vulnerable members of our community with care, shelter, and a path forward.
Biblioteka Nashonal Kòrsou
Preserving and sharing our island’s knowledge, language, and stories for generations to come.
A ticket is your vote. Only ticket holders can vote on the night for which nominee receives the impact donation. For this one time event, the ticket price will be XCG 150. Donations are welcome, even if you can’t make it!
We’re over 1,000 members strong on facebook and over 150 are on our mailing list — but there are only 125 tickets available, so don’t wait.
This evening is about three things:
– Making a real, tangible impact on one of these four incredible efforts
– Welcoming new members who want to keep this movement going for the next 10 years
– Celebrating what happens when women come together — good things happen
