MATTHEW MOVING FARTHER AWAY FROM CURAÇAO. 
THE HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT. 
WATCHES/WARNINGS: The Tropical Storm Advisory and Small Craft Advisory have been canceled. The High Surf Advisory remains in effect until further notice, mainly for west facing beaches in Bándabou.
Discussion: Hurricane Matthew continues to move slowly farther away from Curaçao in a westerly direction. The spiral bands with heavy thundershowers associated with it will not affect our region anymore.

(up to 50 km/h).

Seas: Waves will reach heights of 1 to 2 meters (moderate) and the Small Craft Advisory has been canceled on Saturday morning. The High Surf Advisory however remains in effect until further notice, mainly for west facing beaches in Bándabou.

Rainfall: A few light to moderate showers accompanying Matthew are still possible near or over our island.
