Minor arrested for burglary
Philipsburg: On Thursday November 24 2016, a young man for whom an arrest warrant was issued in regards to a burglary that took place on November 24 2016, was arrested and placed in preventive custody. His parents and a representative for the youth probation services was also informed of his arrest. The investigation in this case is ongoing.

Man arrested for shooting on Pineapple road
Philipsburg: Previously on November 7 2016, a report was issued of a possible shooting that took place on the Pineapple road in St Peters. An investigation in this matter was carried out by the detective department. Detectives managed to locate the victim who immediately filed an official complaint. On November 23 2016, in connection with the ongoing investigation, the suspect C.A.P. a 27 year old male was arrested at his home. The suspect is presently in preventive custody pending further the investigation.

Supermarket robbed
PHILIPSBURG: On Thursday November, 24 2016, at approximately eight twenty (20.20) in the evening the Police Central Dispatch was informed of a robbery that had taken place at the Wah Yun Chinese supermarket at the intersection of the Union and Narrow road in Cole Bay. After the establishment was robbed the suspect fled the scene on an awaiting scooter with another suspect. The detective department is busy investigating the circumstances surrounding this case.
