The seventh tropical wave of the year (2017), located over the tropical Atlantic Ocean, is moving toward the west. This system is anticipated to enter the Caribbean Sea early next week. For this reason, the rain chances will increase somewhat in our region.

Tropical waves will continue to move across our region during the next few months. Some of these systems will cause a few showers on our island and others will pass without significant shower activity.
De zevende “tropical wave” van dit jaar (2017), die zich boven de tropische Atlantische Oceaan bevindt, verplaatst zich in westelijke richting. Naar verwachting zal dit systeem begin volgende week de Caraïbische Zee binnentrekken. Hierdoor zal de kans op regen enigszins toenemen in ons gebied. 

“Tropical waves” zullen gedurende de komende maanden door ons gebied blijven trekken. Sommige van deze systemen zullen enkele buien op ons eiland veroorzaken, terwijl andere over zullen trekken zonder significante buienactiviteit.
