Lecture on Strategic Leadership by Bob De Wit, professor at Nyenrode Business University
The Marketing Network Curaçao, in collaboration with CHATA, is organizing a lecture on “Strategic Leadership” on Tuesday August 13, from 8 a.m. in the Avila Beach Hotel.
“We are on the eve of a revolution that will change the whole society. Various technologies will not only lead to a fourth industrial revolution but to a social revolution, “says Bob de Wit, professor of Strategic Leadership at Nyenrode Business University. In this lecture De Wit will reflect on the question of what such a “social revolution” means for the strategy of companies and the leadership that is needed.
De Wit has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an MBA from the “Interdisciplinary Institute” Business Administration in Delft. He obtained a PhD in “Management Science” at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. In addition to his work as a professor, consultant and director of Strategy Works, De Wit is the author of several books, including the books “Strategy: An international perspective” and “Strategy Synthesis”, both used at universities and business schools in 52 countries. He is also a much sought-after guest speaker because he has the ability to persuade people to respond to future developments and explains how leaders can best manage these developments.

Lezing Strategisch Leiderschap van Bob De Wit, hoogleraar Nyenrode Business Universiteit
Het Marketing Netwerk Curaçao oraniseert in samenwerking met CHATA op dinsdag 13 augustus vanaf 8 uur in de ochtend een lezing met als thema ‘Strategisch Leiderschap’ in het Avila Beach Hotel.
“We staan aan de vooravond van een revolutie die de hele samenleving gaat veranderen. Diverse technologieën gaan niet alleen leiden tot een vierde industriële revolutie maar tot een maatschappelijke revolutie”, dat stelt Bob de Wit, hoogleraar Strategisch Leiderschap aan de Nyenrode Business Universiteit. De Wit zal in deze lezing met de aanwezigen reflecteren op de vraag wat zo’n ‘maatschappelijke revolutie’ betekent voor de strategie van bedrijven en het leiderschap dat nodig is.
De Wit heeft een bachelor degree in Psychologie en een MBA aan het ‘Interdisciplinary Institute’ Bedrijfskunde in Delft. Aan de Erasmus Universiteit in Rotterdam behaalde hij een PhD in ‘Management Science’.
