Recognition for tourist couple visiting Curaçao for 38 years
WILLEMSTAD – February 1, 2024 – This year, Mr. Francisco Albini and Mrs. Maria del Carmen Flix celebrated 38 years of visiting our lovely island of Curaçao. The couple is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since 1986, they have faithfully chosen to spend their vacation every year here in Curaçao. For this special occasion, the couple received a visit from the Minister of Economic Development, Mr. Ruisandro Cijntje, and Mr. Muryad de Bruin, Counterpart Director of the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB). The purpose was to show recognition and appreciation for their loyalty and to make them feel valued by Curaçao.
Minister Cijntje and Mr. de Bruin had a pleasant conversation with the tourist couple to gain insight into their experience on our island, what they like the most, and to thank them for all the years they have been visiting Curaçao. The couple indicated that what they like the most is the tranquility that Curaçao offers compared to their home city of Buenos Aires. They also enjoy our friendly people and our beaches. Minister Cijntje presented the couple with a recognition plaque featuring a captivating view of our harbor, downtown Otrobanda, and two cruise ships docked at our Mega Pier.
Mr. Francisco Albini and Mrs. Maria del Carmen Flix serve as our ambassadors, consistently sharing their wonderful experiences in Curaçao, thereby inspiring more Argentinians to come visit our island.
