** Children’s Carnival Parade: Safety Advisory from Sint Maarten Police Force (KPSM) **

The Sint Maarten Police Force (KPSM) would like to issue a safety advisory in connection with the Children’s Carnival Parade scheduled for today, Sunday 21st, 2024.
The parade, commencing at 3:00 PM from the Jose Lake Sr. BallPark will follow a route via Bush Road and Nisbeth Road, concluding at the Festival Village on Suoaliga Road.
In the interest of public safety, KPSM urges all residents and visitors to take precautionary measures to secure their homes before participating in or observing the parade.
Additionally, motorists are encouraged to consider alternative routes, particularly those heading to the airport, to minimize traffic congestion.
