Successful Premiere of the film ‘Dating My Past’
Starring Chanelle de Lau, Miss Universe Curaçao 2016
WILLEMSTAD – November 8, 2024 – In front of local and international guests and press, the premiere of the new international film Dating My Past took place, starring our very own Chanelle de Lau in the leading role, who in addition to being an actress, holds several beauty titles. In the film Dating My Past, Chanelle plays the role of Lexie, a relationship therapist reflecting on her past romantic relationships, each with its own challenges and life lessons.
The premiere was held at The Movies Otrobanda, complete with a red carpet. After enjoying the film, a Q&A session with the cast followed. Dating My Past marks Chanelle’s third appearance in a film. The film is directed by Ricky Burchell and inspired by Aaron Jordan Jr.’s book The Power Within, A Woman’s Worth: From Both Sexes. Following its premiere here in Curaçao, the film will also debut in the United States.
