𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲𝐬 𝐈𝐈 𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐭𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 – 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

We had the pleasure of welcoming Explora II for the very first time. The first call brought approximately 605 visitors and 624 crew members to our island. As the second ship in the Explora Journeys fleet, this MSC vessel mirrors the innovative design and luxury, all-inclusive experience of its sister ship, Explora I. The ship’s elegant style reflects a refined, female touch, adding to the unique atmosphere onboard.

Explora II is setting new standards in the cruise industry, creating unforgettable journeys, emotions, and memories for its guests. The team takes immense pride in the feedback they are receiving, especially for their leadership in food and beverages. They are redefining luxury at sea with an unparalleled level of service and experience.

Committed to sustainability, Explora II features the latest SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology, reducing NOx emissions by 90%. The ship is also certified for reduced underwater noise and upholds a strong environmental commitment.

A special First Call Ceremony took place on February 25th to mark the occasion. It was a pleasure to meet Captain Sebastiano and officially welcome him and his crew to Bonaire. He was presented with Bonaire’s beautiful flag by Kia-San, representing Commissioner Abraham. Additionally, our Harbor Master, Gunther, gifted the captain a stunning photo of Explora II’s first arrival in Bonaire, captured by Mona Lisa. The ship’s agent was also present and exchanged gifts to commemorate this milestone.

From TCB’s side, we presented the crew with a signature Bonaire water bottle, and our very own Rolando Marin had the honor of showcasing our beautiful island to the captain and his family.
