Wim Nijdam, I was surprised and proud to receive a Plaque of Merit from the Curaçao Minister of Finance, Mr. Drs. Javier Silvania, in recognition of my contribution to the Curaçao Tax Administration.
Having lived in Curaçao for more than 10 years now, I know that humility and respect are essential values in our community. Therefore I would like to recognize that this is not just a personal achievement, but the result of teamwork, collaboration, and shared dedication.
This award belongs just as much to the many colleagues, teams, and partners who have worked tirelessly to strengthen tax compliance and increase tax revenues for the greater benefit of the Curaçao community.
