Public Notice: Temporary Opening of the Great Bay Channel

The Ministry of VROMI hereby informs the public that the Great Bay Fresh Pond Channel was temporarily opened today Wednesday October 22nd, 2025 and will remain open until 3:00 PM this afternoon.

This measure is part of the Ministry’s ongoing water management efforts to reduce pond levels in the Salt and Fresh Pond.

Safety Reminder: The public is strongly advised to avoid all water activities, including boating, swimming and fishing during this time.
