Zipline Adventures Curaçao, opgericht door Jandino en Kenneth Asporaat, opent deze maand officieel haar heuveltop-zipline. Zes ziplines, verschillende hoogteniveaus en een totale lengte van bijna één kilometer. Met panoramisch uitzicht over ‘Playa Santa Cruz’, de Caribische Zee. Tijdens de rit vlieg je over de prachtige natuur en de unieke habitat van Hòfi Mango.
“Dit is een droom die uitkomt,” zegt Jandino. “Wij wilden iets creëren dat spanning en trots combineert en dat laat zien hoe prachtig Curaçao is. Eerlijk, wie wil er nou niet over zijn eigen eiland vliegen? De afgelopen maanden hebben wij keihard gewerkt. We zijn trots op onze lokale operators die de attractie gaan draaien. Ze zijn allemaal eerst een maand in training geweest want veiligheid staat bij ons uiteraard voorop. Ze kunnen nu bijna niet wachten om de bezoekers te ontvangen. Eindelijk kunnen we laten zien waar we met elkaar zo hard aan gewerkt hebben!”

Voor iedereen die al nieuwsgierig is, hebben de Asporaatbroers een verrassing. Het is al mogelijk om voor 22 november de attractie te beleven. Vanaf vandaag gaat de attractie live. Dus wie al voor de grand opening wil vliegen, kan vanaf nu al naar de website gaan en proberen één van de limited editions previewtickets te scoren. Zo kunnen de eerste bezoekers alvast vertellen hoe gaaf hun vlucht over het eiland was.
Zestig minuten avontuur
Bezoekers starten hun avontuur vanaf het hooggelegen lanceerplatform met uitzicht over de bandabou heuvels, het mango bos en de zee. De volledige ervaring, van voorbereiding tot landing, duurt ongeveer zestig minuten. Met de opening van de eerste zipline op Curaçao willen Jandino en Kenneth laten zien dat avontuur en eilandcultuur hand in hand kunnen gaan. De attractie is geschikt voor zowel waaghalzen als toeschouwers die liever met een koel drankje toekijken.
Over Zipline Adventures Curaçao
Zipline Adventures Curaçao ligt in het historisch natuurpark Hòfi Mango Park. Elk zipline-ticket is inclusief toegang tot het natuurpark Hòfi Mango, waar natuur en geschiedenis samenkomen. Six ziplines, various height levels, and a total length of nearly one kilometer – all with panoramic views over Playa Santa Cruz and the Caribbean Sea. During the ride, visitors fly over the island’s stunning nature and the unique habitat of Hòfi Mango.
“This is a dream come true,” says Jandino. “We wanted to create something that combines excitement and pride while showcasing how beautiful Curaçao truly is. Honestly, who wouldn’t want to fly over their own island? Over the past few months, we’ve worked incredibly hard. We’re proud of our local operators who will be running the attraction. They’ve all completed a full month of training, because safety is our top priority. Now they can hardly wait to welcome visitors. Finally, we can show everyone what we’ve been working on so passionately together!”

For everyone who’s eager to experience it, the Asporaat brothers have a surprise. It’s already possible to try the attraction before the official grand opening on November 22. The zipline is open as of today. So anyone who wants to fly before the big day can visit the website now and book one of the limited-edition preview tickets. That way, the first visitors can already share how amazing their flight over the island was.
Sixty minutes of adventure
Visitors begin their adventure from a high-altitude launch platform with views over the Bandabou hills, the mango forest, and the sea. The entire experience—from preparation to landing—takes about sixty minutes. With the opening of Curaçao’s first zipline, Jandino and Kenneth aim to show that adventure and island culture can go hand in hand.
