Voornemen tot overeenkomst levering monumentaal object in Oranjestad
Het Rijksvastgoedbedrijf is voornemens om het monumentaal object Fort Oranje onderhands te leveren aan het Openbaar Lichaam Sint Eustatius.
Met de staatskundige hervorming op 10-10-2010 zijn de Cultuurhistorische objecten op naam van de ‘Staat der Nederlanden’ gekomen. De afdelingen die in Nederland gaan over de cultuurhistorische objecten en de Rijksbouwmeester zijn van mening dat deze culturele objecten toebehoren aan het eiland waarop ze zijn gelegen.

Intention to enter into an agreement regarding monumental object in Oranjestad
The Rijksvastgoedbedrijf intends to transfer the monumental property Fort Oranje to the Public Entity of St. Eustatius by private treaty.
With the constitutional reform on 10 October 2010, the cultural heritage objects became the property of the “State of the Netherlands”. The departments responsible for the cultural heritage objects in the Netherlands and the Rijksbouwmeester are of the opinion that these cultural objects belong to the island where they are located.
