Parliament of Sint Maarten Petit Comité Dispute Regulation meets in Aruba

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, members of the Petit Comité Dispute Regulation on behalf of the Parliament of Sint Maarten, the Hon. President of Parliament, Mrs. Sarah A. Wescot-Williams, and the Hon. Member of Parliament, Mr. Egbert J. Doran, met with their counterparts from the Parliaments of Aruba and Curaçao in Oranjestad, Aruba at the Parliament of Aruba. This Petit Comité meeting was held following its establishment by the Tripartite Consultation, which is a parliamentary platform between the Parliaments of Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten.

The meeting focused on discussing the trajectory for the handling of the draft Kingdom Law, as well as the recently issued advice from the Council of State of the Kingdom regarding the draft.
