Curaçao Tourist Board Selects Organizing Partner for
Miss Universe Curaçao 2026-2027
WILLEMSTAD – April 7, 2026 – The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), as the official franchise holder of Miss Universe Curaçao, is pleased to announce that Mr. Gionel Virginie, representing Curaçao International Crowned Queens, has been selected as the organizing partner for the Miss Universe Curaçao 2026-2027 editions.
This selection follows a structured and transparent tender process, with the evaluation conducted by a Selection Committee composed of experts in tourism, culture, government oversight, and technical fields. Based on the overall scoring and assessment, Curaçao International Crowned Queens ranked highest, showing solid experience in organizing pageants, a clear and professional vision, and the operational capacity to deliver a national program that meets international standards.
Curaçao’s participation in the Miss Universe competition for over 60 years has placed the island on a recognized international platform beyond the pageant itself.
Looking ahead, participation in the upcoming 75th Miss Universe competition in November represents another opportunity to promote Curaçao’s presence on the global stage. In close collaboration with Curaçao International Crowned Queens, the CTB will ensure a strong and competitive representation that reflects Curaçao’s vibrant culture, rich history, and natural beauty.
