WILLEMSTAD – Samen met de spelers van het nationale elftal naar Costa Rica vliegen en
Curaçao aanmoedigen tijdens een belangrijk duel in de Concacaf Nations League. Corendon
maakt het mogelijk met een exclusieve fanreis naar San José. Er zijn slechts honderd
plaatsen beschikbaar.
Het nationale elftal van Curaçao neemt het op donderdag 24 september op tegen Costa Rica.
De wedstrijd is belangrijk in de strijd om een plaats in de volgende fase van de Concacaf
Nations League 2026/27 en voor kwalificatie voor de Concacaf Gold Cup 2027.
Speciaal voor Curaçaose voetbalfans organiseert Corendon in nauwe samenwerking met de
Curaçaose voetbalbond FFK een eenmalige reis naar San José. De honderd supporters reizen
in hetzelfde vliegtuig als de spelers en staf van het nationale elftal.
“Dit wordt veel meer dan een reis naar een voetbalwedstrijd”, zegt Atilay Uslu van
Corendon. “Supporters vliegen samen met de selectie naar Costa Rica en beleven het duel
van dichtbij. Curaçao kan rekenen op een enthousiast blauw legioen in het stadion.
Tegelijkertijd bezoeken de fans een van de mooiste en meest veelzijdige landen van de
Amerika’s. Dat maakt deze fanreis echt uniek.”
De vlucht vertrekt op woensdagochtend 23 september vanaf Curaçao. De wedstrijd wordt
een dag later gespeeld in het Estadio Ricardo Saprissa Aymá in San José. Op vrijdagochtend
25 september vliegt het gezelschap terug naar Curaçao.
Het complete arrangement kost 1.799 gulden per persoon. Daarvoor krijgen supporters een
retourvlucht naar Costa Rica, een overnachting inclusief ontbijt in Hotel Barceló in San José,
een toegangsbewijs voor de wedstrijd en alle transfers tussen de luchthaven, het hotel en
het stadion.
De verkoop start op zaterdag 12 september om 8 uur ‘s morgens. De fanreis is uitsluitend te
boeken bij het Corendon-reisbureau aan de Scharlooweg 27. Vanwege het beperkte aantal
plaatsen geldt: vol is vol.
Corendon en het Curaçaose voetbal zijn inmiddels onlosmakelijk met elkaar verbonden: de
reisorganisatie is hoofdsponsor van de nationale voetbalbond. En tijdens het WK in Noord
Amerika zijn honderden fans met Corendon naar de USA gevlogen om de wedstrijden van de
Blue Wave mee te maken.

Curaçao’s national team will face Costa Rica on Thursday, September 24. The match is
important in the battle for a place in the next stage of the 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League
and for qualification for the 2027 Concacaf Gold Cup.
Especially for Curaçao soccer fans, Corendon, in close cooperation with the Curaçao Soccer
Federation (FFK), is organizing a one-time trip to San José. The 100 supporters will travel on
the same aircraft as the players and staff of the national team.
“This will be much more than a trip to a football match,” says Atilay Uslu of Corendon.
“Supporters will fly to Costa Rica together with the national team and experience the match
up close. Curaçao can count on an enthusiastic Blue Legion in the stadium. At the same time,
the fans will get to visit one of the most beautiful and diverse countries in the Americas.
That makes this fan trip truly unique.”
The flight departs from Curaçao on Wednesday morning, September 23. The match will be
played the following day at Estadio Ricardo Saprissa Aymá in San José. On Friday morning,
September 25, the group will fly back to Curaçao.
The complete package costs 1.799 guilders per person. This includes a round-trip flight to
Costa Rica, one night including breakfast at Hotel Barceló in San José, a ticket to the match,
and all transfers between the airport, hotel and stadium.
Sales will start on Saturday, September 12 at 8 AM. The fan trip can only be booked at the
Corendon travel agency at Scharlooweg 27. Due to the limited number of places, availability
is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Corendon and Curaçao soccer have become closely connected: the travel organization is the
main sponsor of the national soccer federation. During the World Cup in North America,
hundreds of fans also travelled with Corendon to the United States to experience the Blue
Wave matches in person.
