Na een geweldige ervaring met WannaBike draagt Ellemieke van Beek na 12 jaar het stokje over. Per 1 augustus wordt Walter Roesink de nieuwe eigenaar. Deze ervaren ondernemer en gepassioneerde mountainbiker zal zich hier zeker thuis voelen met zijn gezin. Naast zijn doel om WannaBike verder uit te breiden, wordt hij ook partner in het netwerk van ‘social entrepreneurs’, dat een duurzame groei van het eiland voor ogen heeft.
Met haar bedrijven WannaGo Outdoors en WannaGrow, zal Ellemieke van Beek zich nog meer gaan richten op de zakelijke, non- conventionele trainingen op het gebied van Leiderschap & Communicatie. Daarnaast is voor haar een belangrijk doel om Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Ondernemen (MVO) op de agenda’s van bedrijven op Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire en Sint Maarten te krijgen.
Hoewel zij zich meer is gaan ontwikkelen op het gebied van HRM en MVO, zal de gepassioneerde mountainbiker in haar nooit verdwijnen! Ellemieke is dan ook heel blij met Walter’s aanbod om gids en instructeur te blijven in het WannaBike team!

Having enjoyed the fantastic challenge of running WannaBike for 12 years, Ellemieke van Beek found a partner to take over. As of August 1, Walter Roesink will be the new owner. He is an experienced entrepreneur and passionate mountainbiker who will certainly feel right at home here with his family. Besides his goal to take WannaBike to the next level, he will also be a member of the partner network of social entrepreneurs, who strive to uplift the island in a sustainable way.
With her companies WannaGo Outdoors and WannaGrow, the focus of Ellemieke van Beek will be much more on corporate, non- conventional training in the area’s of Leadership & Communication. Besides that, an important goal is getting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on the agenda of companies in Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire and Sint Maarten.
Although her attention shifted to the HRM and CSR area, the passionate mountain biker in her will never disappear! Ellemieke is therefore happy with Walter’s offer to stay a member of the WannaBike guide & instructors team!
