Three cruise ships for the first time in Curaçao: Norwegian Bliss, Mein Schiff 2 and Celebrity Edge
In the presence of the Minister of Economic Development, Mrs. Giselle McWilliam and also Mr. Albert Zwueste, Chief Operations Officer (CCO) of Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA), the port of Curaçao has welcomed three cruise ships which in the last two days made their maiden trip to Curaçao. These are the ships Norwegian Bliss, Mein Schiff 2 and Celebrity Edge.
As usual, the captain and crew invite the dignitaries during an inaugural ceremony for the exchange of plaques in the presence of organizations such as Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA), Curaçao Tourism Bureau (CTB), S.E.L. Maduro & Sons (shipping agent) and Downtown Management Organization (DMO) to celebrate the important moment for both the ship itself and for Curaçao. It is important to work on the bond with the captain and crew of the ship in order to showcase our island, so that they consider adding Curaçao to their itinerary.
