About Bosch Parade
Bosch Parade organizes a biennial Art manifestation on the Dommel River in the center of the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch) in the Netherlands.  It’s a spectacular, theatrical and musical arts manifestation on the water with Hieronymus Bosch (1450-1516) as a source of inspiration.  His world-famous works of art are full of symbolism, fantasies, absurdities, little goblins, and demons that continue to inspire. This year was the tenth-anniversary edition of the Bosch Parade which took place from June 20, 2024 to June 23, 2024 in Den Bosch. The theme for 2024 was ‘Contemporary demons’ inspired by the artwork The Garden of Earthly Delights, a triptych oil painting, painted between 1490 and 1510 on oak panels by Hieronymus Bosch.

Central to this project is the exploration of connection, collaboration, and personal demons. What happens when you have multiple artists and art students develop new artworks together? How do you think, create, negotiate, or compromise with each other? What demons torment or help us?
After a period of collaboration and a collective creative process, which began on Curaçao, where the art students under the expert guidance of the ‘Kunstbroeders’ Tirzo Martha and David Bade, together with Elvis Chen and Travis Geertruida worked incessantly on their ideas for the project at Instituto Buena Bista. The results of their creative process were presented during the kick–off at The Curaçao Museum, last year in December, after which they continued with the further development of the designs in the Netherlands at the Bosch Parade.
With the exhibition Introspectivesthe green light for the next phase in the trajectory was given to say goodbye: the artists reassembled themselves, the demons, and the artworks. They re-shifted their focus inwards and explored what they experienced during this project and in an empty space at Willem Twee Kunstruimte, new and personal introspections emerged.
The results of this process moved from the Willem Twee Kunstruimte in Den Bosch to The Curaçao Museum in the final phase of Introspectives and show the works of:
David Bade, Tirzo Martha, Elvis Kiem Loon Chen, Travis Geertruida, Steph de Araujo, Nora Boekholt, Jane Castillo, Estebe Duin Rodrigues, Zoë Kouijzer, Keithly – Son Luciana, Omar Martha, Fabio Serra and Sofie de Vroed.  Curated by Linda Köke from Willem Twee Kunstruimte, Joyce Pennekamp from Connections and Judaline Cyntje from The Curaçao Museum.
