Willemstad, April 22, 2024 – CHATA, the Curaçao Hospitality and Tourism Association, proudly hosted its 2nd “Stars of the Industry” event of the year, honoring the exceptional talents and dedication of employees and supervisors nominated by CHATA Members for their outstanding performance during the second quarter of 2024. This prestigious ceremony, held at the stunning Papagayo Beach Resort, serves as a key initiative in recognizing and celebrating the professionals who drive Curaçao’s tourism success.
In addition to celebrating individual excellence, CHATA continues to champion sustainable growth within the industry. While the destination has already exceeded its stay-over tourism targets by an impressive 52% over the yearly budget, CHATA remains focused on ensuring that this growth is both balanced and long-lasting. At the heart of this strategy is an unwavering commitment to human capital, the cornerstone of Curaçao’s hospitality sector.
CHATA CEO Anuschka Cova underscored the importance of this approach during the ceremony. “While we celebrate the remarkable growth of our tourism sector, we recognize that the true strength of this industry lies in its people.
