Library Announces Book Sale 2025 and Grace Period for Overdue Returns
On February 1, 2025, the library will host its eagerly anticipated Book Sale 2025, offering an incredible opportunity for book lovers to explore a treasure trove of stories and genres at unbeatable prices.
The book sale will feature a wide selection of English and Dutch books across various genres, all in good condition and priced to fit any budget. Do not miss these amazing deals:
- Softcover books: $0.50 or Naf 0.90 each
- Hardcover books: $1.00 or Naf 1.80 each
- Mix and match 25 books: $5.00 or Naf 9.00
The sale will take place in the parking area of the library, conveniently located next to Adolphus Richardson Office Supplies on Walter A. J. Nisbeth Road #3, Philipsburg. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. and close at 1:00 p.m.
This event is not just about finding your next great read—it is also about giving books a second life while supporting the library’s mission to promote literacy and community engagement.
Grace Period for Overdue and Damaged Books
In addition as part of its community-focused initiatives, the library is introducing the first Grace Period of 2025, running from February 1 to February 8, 2025. During this time, all patrons are invited to return overdue or damaged books, no questions asked and without any penalties.
“We hope this grace period encourages patrons to reconnect with the library and helps us recover valuable resources for the benefit of all,” said a library spokesperson.
