Work continues on the expansion of social housing on Statia.
The land for the project has been made available locally. Funding for the construction of the housing units is provided by the National Government through the Ministry of Home Affairs and Kingdom Relations. This collaboration aims to reduce the waiting list for residents who qualify for social housing.
Once the infrastructure works are completed, the next step will be to start the tender process for the construction phase.
