CTB Hosts Event in Argentina to Present Aerolíneas Argentinas’ New Direct Flight to Curaçao
WILLEMSTAD – October 12, 2026 – The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) recently organized an event for 50 wholesalers and media representatives in Argentina to officially present Aerolíneas Argentinas’ new direct route to Curaçao, which will launch in January 2027. The event included speeches by Mr. Mauritz Verheijden, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Argentina; Mr. Matías Leonetti, Sales Director at Aerolíneas Argentinas; and Mr. Hugo Clarinda, Deputy Director of CTB.
During the event, the CTB team delivered a presentation highlighting Curaçao’s diverse tourism offerings, providing attendees with valuable insights into the destination. Guests also enjoyed a networking session and prize raffle, accompanied by a musical performance by local artist Juni Juliet, who entertained attendees with traditional Curaçaoan songs. Joining CTB at the event were Curaçao Airport Holding and representatives from various hotels and tour operators in Curaçao. The participating hotels and tour operators also had the opportunity to showcase their respective products and services to attendees.
Through initiatives such as this event, CTB aims to ensure that travel trade partners and media representatives in the Argentine market are well informed about the new direct flight to Curaçao and the destination’s diverse tourism offerings.
