Arajet Starts Service from Boston Logan International Airport, Completing 2025 Expansion

Arajet Starts Service from Boston Logan International Airport, Completing 2025 Expansion

The new route connects New England directly to Santo Domingo and beyond to destinations across Latin America and the Caribbean.

BOSTON – November 21, 2025 – Arajet, the flagship Dominican airline, today launched nonstop service between Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Las Américas International Airport in Santo Domingo (SDQ). Rounding out its U.S. network as the sixth operating route launched in 2025, Arajet’s Boston flights provide New England travelers with convenient and affordable access to the Caribbean’s vibrant capital city and Arajet’s expanding network across Latin America.

Boston joins Newark as Arajet’s second Northeast U.S. gateway, highlighting the airline’s growing footprint in major American destinations. New England has long been a hub for Caribbean travel, with Boston—home to a significant Dominican diaspora—serving as a leading point of departure for both leisure travel and for those visiting family in the Dominican Republic. The airline will fly from Boston four days a week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, starting just in time to capture the winter travel demand for the sandy beaches and resorts of the DR and Caribbean.

Winter travel demand from Boston to sunny Caribbean destinations has been steadily increasing, and the new route is a timely addition for New Englanders planning seasonal getaways. Travelers flying from Boston can enjoy Santo Domingo’s colonial architecture, cultural attractions, and beaches, or continue onward to destinations including Aruba, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Guatemala. Arajet’s modern Boeing 737 MAX aircraft—the youngest fleet in North America—ensure safe and comfortable travel throughout the network.

“Boston is a vital market for Arajet, home to one of the largest Dominican communities in the U.S. This new nonstop service provides New Englanders with an easy, affordable way to experience the culture, history, and natural beauty of Santo Domingo, while also offering seamless connections to more than 25 destinations across the Caribbean and Latin America,” said Victor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet. “Now that our sixth U.S. route has launched, we’ve set our sights on new locations to continue expanding next year.”

Arajet now operates in six major U.S. cities, completing the airline’s initial network expansion announced earlier in 2025, with routes active from Boston, Chicago, Orlando, Miami, New York, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. This milestone strengthens Arajet’s presence across the country, providing travelers from New England—and across the U.S.—with convenient, direct access to the Dominican Republic and the wider Caribbean, while setting the stage for continued growth in the North American market.

Boston Logan is excited to welcome Arajet to our airport,” said Ed Feni, Massport Executive Director of Aviation. “It’s an exciting moment for our travelers to the Caribbean and we look forward to this collaboration.”
