Curaçao Connects with German Travel Trade During Four-City Roadshow 

 

WILLEMSTAD – September 11, 2026 – The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), in collaboration with the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA), organized a four-day roadshow in Germany, attracting a total of 125 German travel agents. The roadshow took place in Bonn, Essen, Münster and Hannover, cities that have generated consistent visitor numbers for both destinations in recent months. The objective of the roadshow was to capitalize on Curaçao’s growing popularity in the German market following the FIFA World Cup, leverage the new direct Corendon Airlines connection between Düsseldorf and Curaçao, and highlight the strong sense of unity and collaboration between the two islands. 

 

Upon arrival, the travel agents were welcomed with a refreshing cocktail before participating in a one-hour travel marketplace featuring hotel partners from both Aruba and Curaçao. This provided participating agents with the opportunity to engage directly with the hotel representatives and learn more about their respective properties and offerings. The marketplace was followed by presentations highlighting the unique attractions, cultures, and travel experiences of both islands. The program also included presentations by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Hyatt Inclusive Collection. 

 

In addition, the roadshow featured a creative workshop led by Aruban artist Claire-Lune van Arneman and Curaçao creative artist Gregory Isidora. Participants also enjoyed Curaçao-inspired cocktails, delicious snacks, and an authentic atmosphere that showcased the warmth, color, and hospitality of the islands.
